Exhibition Details
This year’s expo features a trade exhibition area of 80,000 square meters, divided into Central and Eastern European and export consumer goods sections. The Central and Eastern European exhibition area, located at the International Conference Center by Dongqian Lake in Ningbo, covers 20,000 square meters and will host 435 companies from 14 Central and Eastern European countries, as well as nine other countries including the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain, expanding from “Central and Eastern Europe” to “Central and Eastern Europe +.”
The exhibition area is divided into four thematic sections:
– Exciting Highlights: Showcasing the guest country, theme province, and the image of Zhejiang Province.
– Smart Central and Eastern Europe: Focusing on artificial intelligence and smart manufacturing, displaying cutting-edge technologies and innovative application scenarios.
– Charming Central and Eastern Europe: Presenting the unique charm of diverse cultural arts between China and Central and Eastern Europe through “books, arts, paintings, prints, and travel.”
– Premium Central and Eastern Europe: Showcasing characteristic agricultural products and daily consumer goods through immersive cooking theaters and artisan demonstrations.
The export consumer goods section will be held at the International Exhibition Center in Ningbo’s East New Town, covering 60,000 square meters with 1,028 companies from across the country. It will feature four categories: consumer goods, home goods, smart products, and green products, showcasing the advantageous industries and consumer products from various provinces. Additionally, a special area for high-quality foreign trade products will be set up for the first time.
The expo is expected to attract over 15,000 professional visitors, including more than 3,000 overseas buyers from 72 countries and regions, with anticipated import procurement intentions from Central and Eastern Europe exceeding 10 billion yuan.
Event Organization
The expo will focus on economic and trade activities, supplemented by areas such as education, culture, and sports, with carefully planned activities under the “11+4+N” framework:
– “11”refers to 11 key activities within the expo framework, including the opening ceremony, four economic and trade negotiation events, three investment promotion activities, and three cultural exchange activities.
– “4”refers to concurrent institutional activities, including the Ningbo meeting of the China-Central and Eastern European Countries Joint Chamber of Commerce, the 7th China-Central and Eastern European Countries Customs Inspection and Quarantine Cooperation Dialogue, the 2025 China-Central and Eastern European Countries Mayors Forum, and the Central and Eastern European International Sailing Competition.
– “N”indicates more than 50 specialized matchmaking activities by industry and country, focusing on “small but practical,” “small but exquisite,” and “small but beautiful” events to explore cooperation opportunities.
As for important guests, seven officials from six Central and Eastern European countries have confirmed their attendance, and 117 domestic delegations have registered to participate.
